- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. As of Feb. 2011 I was a class that let us test new orbital buffers, rotary buffers, new compounds, polishes and glazes. It also entailed wet sanding and measuring paint thickness. 2014 and 2016 I took wet sanding and polishing classes with Barry Theal in Pennsylvania. Went to training in early 2016 to become authorized for Ceramic Pro I was asked to be on a show in 2016 called Competition Ready to help detail a Riddler contender for the Detroit Autorama
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion and a talent for turning the way a car looks around. Since I was young I would spend my money buying car cleaning supplies to clean my siblings cars. I would give them a tutorial on what to do and what not to do, how often to do a specific thing and what products I thought did the best job. I take pride and enjoy the work that I do. I don't just do this to pay the bills, its a passion of mine.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you talk to a shop ask questions, do research on the internet to see if they are being honest or not. If you don't get a good vibe from the individual on the phone or the deal sounds to good to be true, don't do it!
