I would have chosen all five highlights, Work Quality, Professionalism, Responsiveness, Value and Punctuality, if this silly Thumbtack app allowed that! Rich was a life-saver for us. Our central A/C system died at the start of the late August 2023 heat wave here in St. Louis, the worst in recent memory. We had been told that the most economical solution to our problem would be to replace the entire system, since an expensive component of the system had failed. "Why throw good money after bad" was the rationale behind that advice, given to us by another contractor. We called in Rich Gonzalez for a second opinion. He immediately, and correctly, diagnosed the issue that we were having with our A/C system. There were no bad components, and Rich got our system running within an hour. You can believe that Rich is our "go to" HVAC guy from now on. And not just because he fixed this problem. We'll continue to use him because it's obvious he knows what he's doing, he's personable and a straight shooter, and his rates are competitive and reasonable. We highly recommend him.

The air conditioning unit at my rental house was not cooling well. Gonzalez came out during record heat and got us on the schedule quickly. The repairs were completed efficiently and I am happy with the work.

I've been a loyal customer of Gonzalez HVAC for the past 5 years, working primarily with Rich between both of my homes here in South St. Louis City. Between these 2 homes he has installed 2 air conditioning units and, most recently, an Air Coil. As always, he did an excellent job in the installation and explaining the process. He also gave me a quick-n-easy way maintenance suggestion that made sense and followed up with a text to remind me to register my new Air coil with the manufacturer. He also proactively inspected my HVAC system for any possible future repairs/concerns. From end-2-end Gonzalez HVAC provided honest, reasonably priced services and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a trustworthy HVAC company. Hope this helps anyone in their HVAC decision making journey.
