Introduction: Designing spaces feeds my soul and truly is my passion project. “I absolutely believe the happiness we feel at home positively impacts every other aspect of our lives.” - Tasha Agruso My hope is that this positivity results in good will to others in our communities. Our homes are where we feel the safest and the place you go to reset at the end of a long day. The place you are happy to return to after a vacation. How many times have you heard people say… ”we had a great time, but I was ready to come home.” Clients often know what they want their homes to look like but are not sure where to begin or how to get there. My first step is to thoroughly understand a client’s vision for their space and the budget allocated for the project. Together, the client and I will formulate a plan to achieve the vision that is uniquely theirs. My goal is to reduce a client’s stress and assist in making the decisions that will give them the home they envisioned. At the end of a project, the greatest compliment I can receive is hearing “I can’t believe this is my house and I get to live in it!” -Paula

Love working with Paula! We were looking for some advice for our living room and total design support for our kitchen. She listened to what we needed, shared up front the services she’d offer as part of her fee, and shared where we can add on (or take away) where needed to fit our budget. She was a game changer. Her ideas were not at all what I could have thought on on my own and our end product is beautiful. If you want a beautiful home that’s true to your personality…go with Paula!

It was very enjoyable and fun working with Paula! I am a creative person also, but with moving and working, it was hard to focus on decorating and I needed a boost. Paula got it all together quickly and now I can just enjoy! She left me with a wonderful idea board and great ideas for future projects. Love how she arranged my shelf and adore the rug she picked out! So happy!

From our initial meeting to today, four months later Paula has been a dream to work with while decorating my new construction home. We downsized significantly to a townhouse, Paula has helped me make efficient use of my space while creating the aesthetic I have pictured in my head, even when I can’t always explain what that is. She’s provided honest feedback, opened my eyes to items I never would have thought of having in my space, and had helped me mix materials and textures to warm up a builder grade space. The mood boards she shared with me helped me picture what we were working towards and she keeps them updating whenever we have new ideas. She’s taken the time to feel out my space through multiple in-home visits to ensure measurements, placement and flow are all accurate. We text ideas back and forth regularly, which I appreciate. She’s always thinking of her various client spaces while in retail spaces and found modern dining chairs that work perfect for my decor style. And they were on super sale! During the first visit to my house she instantly was able to identify a quartz counter top option that would tie my space together. It’s been such a fun experience and I’ve learned so much in the process of decorating my home. I can’t wait for all of my pieces to arrive and/or be installed to see the final product she has curated just for me! There is no doubt I will be working with Paula when I get to phase II of my decor budget.

Paula exceeded my expectations. We live in an older rambler and I wasn't sure how to refresh the look of our home. Luckily, I found Paula to assist us with ideas for the remodel/redecorating of our living room, kitchen, entryway and even the look of the front of our house. Paula had great ideas for all of it! She created boards with lots of suggestions which made it extremely easy for me to order new furniture and decor. I have never hired anyone to do this type of work before and the experience was even better than I could have imagined. Paula made it fun and easy. It was definitely money well spent. It is fantastic to work with Paula!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a one hour free in-person consult so I can see the space that a client wants to change. I will ask questions about the client’s hopes for the space, how the area will be used, current furniture, paint colors and of course budget. Once I understand the clients wants I typically develop mood/design boards for each space. These are presented to the client and modified as needed as we work together to develop and plan to get to the final result.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am self taught and driven by a passion for design and customer satisfaction. I recently retired from a long career in medical sales. I’ve helped friends and family update their homes for several years.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Families, couples & singles. Single family homes, condos and apartments. New construction and existing homes.
