As a young girl, I always had a love of horses but never had lessons. As a way to be close to horses and to learn to properly care for them, I started taking lessons from Amanda 3 years ago as a 46 year old. Instantly, Amanda made me feel very comfortable and never intimidated, even with her extensive equine knowledge. Not only has she taught me so much about riding and care, she has nurtured my love of horses. I'm happy to say, I am now a proud owner of my own horse and I owe a great deal of that decision to Amanda. Even today, I still learn from Amanda daily. You see, I board my horse at the barn that she manages and I know my Thunder is very well cared for. Not only does she love these animals, she has a natural relationship with them. I would recommend Amanda to anyone who is considering lessons.

Your a good horse trainer! You like to work with the rider and the horse to get them to work together, you like to train one step at a time and make sure the horse and rider are ready to move on to more experienced things. And your a good trainer

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
60 minute lesson on lesson horse: $40 30 minute peewee lesson for riders age 5-7: $30 Lesson packages of 4 or more lessons are available at a 15% discount. Must be purchased and used within the same month. All lessons in a package must be used by the same rider.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New students are taken through basic horse handling and riding practices one on one. We discuss each individual rider's goals and needs.
