Tim was on-time and was very knowledgeable. He did a very good job fixing my storm door lock. It was not an easy fixing, due to the damaged lock. He also repaired the wood frame on the entrance door. Also, he came to work on a Sunday, which is unusual to get anyone scheduled. I strongly recommend him!

I needed to replace a lock on a storm door. He quoted a price of between $80-100 over the phone. Turns out I didn’t need the entire replacement lock I purchased so he drove to home depot to purchase the lock mechanism I needed which could not have cost more than $10. When he returned from Home Depot I asked him to adjust the indoor lock as well which he did. I expected the quoted price to rise because he drove to Home Depot in my area and adjusted the other lock. I expected to pay probably $150 but he charged me $250! That’s a big difference from his original quote of between $80-100. I was satisfied with his work but disappointed in the cost. This was my first experience using Thumbtack. Makes me skeletal about using the app again but I’ll ask prices upfront before work begins.
