Introduction
I customize every single session with the client in mind. Each session has props and accessories made or purchased specifically for that session. I knit all of the pieces you see in my newborn and baby sessions. All of the floral headbands and fascinators are also made to coordinate perfectly with backdrops and sets. I love that photography gives me a creative outlet for all of the arts that I enjoy. Everything from knitting to painting even baking and designing. I love the extraordinary people that I have met and become fast friends with.

WOW!!! Tracey will leave you in awe. She has a unique talent and love for her work. There is so much thoughtfulness put into her sessions from the location to the custom props, the editing and even her packaging! We love all the photos she has taken and it's difficult to pick a favorite! A true artist, Tracey's work speaks for itself!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I travel once a year to workshops in various locations throughout the country. Last year I went to Utah and studied under the amazing Skye Johansen and Katie Moss who specialize in newborn portraits. On a regular basis I attend online classes and workshops to keep up to date with current trends and latest technology in the field.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When it comes to preserving your families memories keep in mind that you get what you pay for. With affordable DSLR cameras flooding the market, the photography business has become inundated with hobbyists. Beware of the "Momographer" who has spent the last few years learning photography by photographing their own children.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I pour my heart and soul into every session. There is so much preparation involved that most people don't quite expect. I usually prepare for a session weeks in advance beginning with getting to know the client's likes and interests. This will usually spark an idea that I then build a story or theme around. At that point I do tons of research. Lastly I purchase whatever is needed to evoke emotion in my images. If I can't find it... I find a way to make it!
