FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Knowledge is power. As a trainer, I believe the most important body part we have to continually develop is our brain. I've always taken pride in being more cerebral than brawn; it's what sets me apart from the herd and makes me the best at what I do. I am constantly reading books, peer reviewed journals, and purchasing new curriculum to become further credentialed.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
So many trainers out there go by their own "personal experience", and train others with what has personally worked for them. I've worked with clients of all ages, and body types. Everyone is different and has their limitations. As a trainer it's important to correctly assess your clients and learn their limitations so you can help them Rise Beyond them. Before hiring a trainer make sure they have the appropriate credentials and a firm understanding of exercise science.
