FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The field of consumer electronic repair is always changing so I have to keep up on all of the latest changes occurring in all the different areas of my field. I have just recently graduated with my 2 year degree from University of Phoenix and attend annual expos that are somewhat close to my area that last a few days and are very informative about all the latest trends in electronics and is also brand specific as well.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common job that I have is preventative maintenance and upkeep to keep the more costly repairs away. This includes monthly operating system cleanup/backup, dusting to avoid overheating (one of the most common repairs can be avoided from this), virus checking and upkeep, and quite a bit of on site tutoring and explaining of every step that is taken during the repair, and how to avoid it again.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Opt for the personal technical support that comes with dealing with an individual that cares about how you feel about the end product when the deal is over. Not a corporation that will run you around in circles when you need assistance without even a second thought.
