FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Custom carpentry is my pride and joy. You will see additional costs because 1) I enlist the help of my architect wife that is not free 2) It requires extensive knowledge that is often ongoing 3) I don’t usually take hrs worked into account on these projects. I charge by the finished project. all other projects that are not custom, will be line itemed hourly. I make quick work of pre assembled items with my mobile power tools and price average as such.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Site walk / consultation. Delivery of quote and scope of project within the next 24 hours. Customer likes quote sit down immediately to answer any questions regarding said scope. After no further questions decide start date and have customer sign contract
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of hands on work with residential and commercial buildings means no job is to complex. Also as a Superintendent for a well known commercial construction company I have lots of talented subs that I can rely on to help get the job done if time ever comes to be an issue.
