I've been growing my dreads for 4 yrs, it's hard to find a good loc stylist in Austin as many of you know. I hadn't had my dreads done in almost a yr. They looked BAAAAAD! I went to CJ and he was a GOD sent...Extremely professional was ON TIME, and such an attention to detail with his work. This guy really knows his stuff on natural hair, very well educated. As far as the prices go......I'm going to be real I think he's shorting himself but I'm just keeping it real. He gave me a wash,extensions and style for a unbelievable price. I put it on everything, this is where it's at if you want to get your hair nice for the right price. But don't take my word for it check it out yourself.

I started going to cj about a month ago from my mothers recommendation. I knew a couple of things about locks but didn't know too much. From the beginning though dude handled everything professional and kept everything cool the whole time. I was a lil nervous about getting my hair dreaded because it had been previously permed but he assured me that he could do it though i would have alot of work to do on it and everything that he told me would happen HAPPENED and he told me how to take care of w/e issues i had as well while i was away from the shop. Straight up, CJ is the truth when it comes to the dreads. Mine are starting to form and its all thanx to CJ. if you need dreads, hit em up ASAP.... Professional Quality for GREAT Prices....

CJ came recommended to me by a mutual out of state acquaintance. I hit him up on Facebook and he was prompt, courtesy and was able to meet my requests for our appt. (I had started my dreads about 9 months before I went to CJ for maintenance.) My hair was a hot mess and in need of sum major TLC. Not only did CJ go above and beyond, he exceeded my expectations. His experience and knowledge with caucasian dreads helped my dreadies lock up faster than they had been previously. CJ also taught me that there is more than one "right" technique used for maintaining my dreads. I drove 3 hours, one way, to meet with CJ and don't regret any mile of it!! He is thorough, professional and knows his trade inside & out.

I went t Cj a little bit skeptical thinking he as just the average hair dresser. I was completely wrong he is exactly wat he claims to be a loctician my dreads wernt the best and would never stay in more than a few days well it's goin on week 2 and they are still nice will definitely be back very soon. You can tell that he is not just doing it for money it's a passion. Thanks CJ

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always learning. I participate in workshops that are throughout Texas and Louisiana to sharpen my skill and technique. Everyone's hair is different, but I have a good understanding of how hair grows, which gives me the ability to not only style or start locks, but keep them healthy and from damage.
