Introduction: I am a San Francisco-based fine art photographer (and brand designer) from Barcelona, Spain. Creative, enthusiastic, passionate, collaborative, detail-oriented, offering professional, quality brands and photography for over 23 years.
My passion lies in portraiture and landscapes. I aim to capture special moments, people, travel locations, and the outdoors from a nuanced art perspective, where details take priority.
When focused on people, I seek to capture authentic portraits in a documentary style. My commitment to my craft is constant. I love bringing out the very best in each individual I shoot. My personal motto captures this sentiment: I try hard to get people to be themselves—authentic and natural.
My mission is to tell stories that speak to the essence of each human I photograph. Making it matter is essential to my craft, and capturing genuine emotions is paramount.
Before taking on any project, I always ask myself why I am doing it, whether it will make a difference, and what it means to me and the observer. Answering these questions enables me to deliver something unique and self-inspired.
When photographing the outdoors, I observe nature to find unique landscapes that inspire emotions and a sense of timelessness. Similarly, when photographing travel locations, I aim to capture the mood of the place and the people who make up its culture in a documentary style.

I contacted Raquel for a photo shoot. She was very proactive and listened to my needs and desires, and prepared a comprehensive quote that addressed everything important. Unfortunately, I got sick the week of our scheduled shoot, and was not able to move forward, as I live out of state. I do, however, highly recommend Raquel and will reach out to her again the next time in Northern California.

Thank you, Raquel, for the fantastic photos! We chose Raquel for our family photoshoot, drawn to her impressive previous work. It turned out to be a great decision! From the outset, Raquel provided guidance at every step, suggesting a beautiful ocean beach location, coordinating our family outfits, and accommodating our schedule. During the photoshoot, I was worried about capturing our three kids effectively, fearing they might struggle to focus or stay engaged with the numerous shots.
