FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is difficult to set a pricing standard for this type of work. Almost everyone works at an hourly rate. I pride myself on being quick and accurate and keeping the bill down for my clients. I want you to stay in business. I don't want to make some money and never see you again. I want a long standing business relationship where you feel that you can call anytime to ask a question or get a referral to someone you need without being charged for the time. I only charge for time working on your information.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down with them and go over their history. As much as they will tell me. Who they are, where are they from, when did the business start, who started it, who put up the money, how is it going, what do you like about your business, what don't you like about your business. What can I do to make your life easier and you can think about sales and income and I can do the rest. Tell me what you hate, and I will be happy to do it for you! Chances are pretty good I don't hate it!!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since high school I have taken classes in the Business Field. I have an AA in Accounting and have taken other classes on the side while working. A lot of what I learned was taught to me on the job by the CPA's I worked for. 30 years total in the accounting field.
