Introduction

My work tends to have a lot of personality! I enjoy using bright colors, interesting characters, and texture to make work that breathes life and joy. When working with clients on illustration for their brand, I enjoy helping them discover their story and using art to expand their brand to reach a broader audience. Some of my past clients include Twitter, Fly.io, RethinkDB, and Outschool. With most of these companies, I've helped introduce a mascot to tell these stories, which in turn, has helped them stand out to their community, and gave them something to grow with. I bring excitement and joy to all my projects. I'm lucky to do and grateful to share it with others! I enjoy collaboration and navigating through a maze of ideas until we find one that makes us go, "WOW"! I also absolutely love the magic that happens while drawing/painting/and how the muse always bring something to the table.

Annie is quite literally the best artist I have ever worked with. She takes the time to deeply understand your vision and pull what you have in your head out into the real world. On top of that, she's incredibly versatile. Whether you want a mural, digital painting, water color, a simple sketch or otherwise, Annie is up to the task. I can't recommend Annie highly enough.

Annie joined RethinkDB when we had no brand, and a barely launched product. She quickly learned about our target market, understood the needs of our customers, and worked with engineers, marketing, and other designers to develop a great brand for our company, and quickly create the digital assets. Annie's spectacular. I'd work with her again on creative projects in a second.

I often work hourly, which can help folks keep track of their budget. I do like to work with people and find an amount that works for both of us!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start of asking a lot of questions, because it helps both of us streamline the project to make it as efficient as possible; we get the big ideas, the vision, and the steps to make it happen all in the question phase.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Illustration and Design from Cal State Fullerton, and 8 + years of experience working with various clients including Twitter, Fly.io, other tech startups, authors, and design agencies.
