I hired Deck Savers to restore a large redwood deck with railings. Sam Calmo and his team replaced several deck boards as well as a supporting beam, sanded and cleaned all pieces, and stained the deck with a good quality solid stain. I had checked with many companies and chose Deck Saver due to their proposal for a quality preparation job, his cooperation for the timing of the job and his reliability to do what they proposed they would do. I would call them again when I need deck fencing repairs or installations.

Sam worked on my redwood deck to bring it back to life and I couldn’t have been happier with the result. He and the crew were conscientious, punctual and very thorough in stripping the wood, giving it a light sand and applying the clear oil finish I requested. He was very easy to work with, explaining all of my options and in answering my many questions so that I felt comfortable making an informed decision. And the next time my deck needs refinishing, I’ll be calling Sam.
