I have more than 20 years experience in the residential construction business. I have performed all phases of residential home construction and remodeling including major additions and custom homes. I have a team of competent craftsmen who are both skilled and a pleasure to work with. We are happy to work on small remodeling projects as well as larger construction projects such as basement finishing, and kitchen and bath remodeling. Frank and his guys were very professional and polite. He did a great job for us, removing a half wall in loft area and installing a railing. Frank is very meticulous in the finish work he does. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a job to be done in your home.

I contacted Frank to repair a warped wood door. He shows up and asked me how much I wanted to spend and told me the cost of repairs I could replace the door. He gave me what I needed to order for a door and while talking I had mentioned I wanted to run a closet near the door into a mud room. He said let’s do all of it and it will only cost a bit more. All was in my budget. Frank showed up and took care of the door installation and closet. He even went out of his way to mimic the arch I have in my house when he put in the mud room. Photos are from after the door and room have been painted. Frank recommended the painter as well. He will be my go to for any work needed.

I hired Frank to work on a lot of small projects around the house including the replacement of a door and doorway, replacement of a window, sealing walls to prevent water damage, bathroom fan installation, weather strip replacement, and more. Frank has a great work ethic, is very professional, and provides exceptional value. I plan to hire frank to overhaul my 2 story deck next.

Frank was wonderful to work with, from start to finish. After my husband and I spent hours trying to adjust our half broken lazy susan we decided we wanted a replacement, but certainly didn't want to spend even more hours installing it, especially having no experience doing so. We found Frank, he was extremely responsive and catered to our needs. He worked with us to ensure we bought the correct replacement lazy susan, by providing details on what/how to measure. He was upfront on his availability and was prompt when the appointment day arrived. He did a wonderful job and was meticulous on making sure everything was done perfectly. His attention to detail (a real keen eye for detail), responsiveness, skill for the task, and overall experience, is everything you would want in a handy man! I would 100% recommend him to any and all.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- Carpenter’s Apprentice Program - Business, Management & Economics Degree (SUNY Empire State College)
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I originally started working in this business as a carpenter’s helper during summers off from school. Eventually, I joined the carpenters apprenticeship program and worked as a commercial carpenter on several large projects. After a few years as a commercial carpenter, I started a residential remodeling business. Currently, I am focusing on smaller, “handy-man” type projects.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be wary of providers who promise the lowest price. Often the best value for your dollar doesn’t mean the cheapest price. If a job is done properly the first time, it will save you time, money and aggravation.
