Kimberlee was really wonderful to work with. She photographed my company's boat party and did that job very well.
Like a true pro, Kim arrived at the perfect time, took the initiative to make her way through the chaos, found our boat, and gave herself a proper tour of the space. She communicated all of this to me as I was running behind.
When I arrived, she was already photographing the few people that had arrived and had established rapport with some of them. I've worked with a lot of event photographers in the past and I've always been sensitive about making them feel like they're being pulled left and right. The first thing Kim told me after we shook hands and exchanged pleasantries was that we "must" make sure we tap her on the shoulder at any time if we wanted to take duo and group photos. I don't think I've ever heard an event photographer be so genuinely enthusiastic about saying that.
I couldn't have asked for a better professional to have worked with that night. Kim meshed well with the group and delivered great images. Thank you, Kim!!!

Kim is absolutely phenomenal!! She arrived at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time and already started taking pictures before I could even signal please get started as my guests were arriving! She truly LOVES photography and has a delicious passion for capturing incredible moments throughout our night. She even stayed past her time as my baby brother was delayed in transit and offered to hang around until he arrived. She made the already incredible night even BETTER making us feel like superstars!! I will definitely be booking her again for other events in the future and you should too. Great energy, great value and great quality!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most portraits and events are $200 per hour. Wedding are $800 per hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I listen to each customer carefully. We go through the events important points. I want to make sure to capture all the moments big and small. During the shoot we give a small pause to make sure everyone and all the imagery has been captured.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 4 year degree in photojournalism from UT Austin. On the job training with the New York City Fire Department after 9/11 taught me to slow down and listen carefully to each moment. During my White House years I was taught every lighting and event photography possible. Now that I'm a mom I really enjoy getting out to each event and making it special for each client.
