FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
People always ask what's my hourly rate and I really don't go by that. Each job has a fair price flat rate. If it takes me a longer to do the job the customer shouldn't have to pay more. But on the other hand if I finish quicker than expected then I shouldn't have to take a price cut because I'm good at what I do. So basically my standard is: let's be fair and honest so we can continue to have a good working relationship . I always tell customers to make it a point, to get educated on how much house repairs cost and the reasons behind it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before I start any job I like to get to know a little bit about the customer, like how they ended up in the house they live in, what they do for work, and who they are as people. I do this NOT because I'm nosy but it makes me more comfortable working with them and I believe it leads to better working relationships.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Started to specialize in drain cleaning almost 10 years go and after training as a apprentice became a plumber.
