- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ever since I was young, I have always had a keen interest in Interior Design. My passion for it and space planning began at a very young age I successfully graduated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering with a major in Information Technology in June 2006! I had invested a significant amount of energy to join the School of Architecture, but unfortunately due to administrative reasons/law, I was only provided with the opportunity to take up Computer Engineering. I am very proud of this degree even though it was not in my field of passion, because it shows I am able to finish tough challenges even when faced with life detours. Following this, I sought out opportunities upon graduation to work in the lighting industry in order to custom-build my future plans and guide them back towards my passion. During this time I sourced suitable suppliers and assisted customers in making the right selection for the right purpose. I really enjoyed improving the lives of people while achieving a high caliber of customer satisfaction for the entire team. This hands-on experience furthered me towards Interior Design and Architecture as my professional goal. To strengthen my credentials in Interior Design, I obtained post-graduate qualifications in the form of Interior Design Certificate program at UCLA extension. This allowed me the learning experience of overseeing all aspects of design projects. In June 2014, I completed my certificate with a further addition to a portfolio of strong academic achievements.
