What went well? The decorations were beautiful.
The problem was that JoAnn frequently forgot what she had agreed to do. She argued with me and I had to send her copies of her emails to prove that I was not making an error. On the day of the wedding, she forgot to display several items that I had asked her to use for the theme. She did not apologize for these errors. There is a lack of organization. My wedding was very small so I am surprised that there was so much confusion.
What else went badly? All aspects of wedding planning: providing guidance to the bride, forgetting the bouquet, providing support to the guests including flow and information about the available transportation options, checking for correct spelling of name on hotel signage, communication with hotel about guest rooms, communication with hotel about special needs guest, etc. She even interrupted me during the reception to inform me which relatives had ordered drinks that were going to cost extra! Who does that? I don't want to hear about that during my wedding reception. It ruined the evening.
