FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a career with UPS and that job takes care of me and my family. I AM an experienced professional DJ with very nice "top of the line" sound/lighting. I own all my equipment and I am independently operated. I charge a basic fee that is affordable to the customer. Never do I charge overtime pay. When an event is "happening", who wants to talk about money? $365 for weddings $300 for class reunions. $475 for Mardi Gras formals All others $265. I can and will work with every customer to meet their financial needs. If a bid is too high for them, I will let THEM name a price. Call me and we can discuss a price that's just right for every customer😊
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication between the new customer and myself is VERY important. Keeping in touch is very important!!!!! I review the music for any formalties for the event and ask any questions I may have. (Such as "how to pronounce names of guest" or "my set up time before the event") Before every event, I meet in person, so the new customer can see that I am a professional DJ. No deposit is EVER required!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Before I became a UPS driver, I was a part-time DJ on air personality for 104.9 Bay Country. I have also worked at WTHO Springhill Collage FM station and 95 KSJ. I have a great speaking DJ voice along with providing non-stop music-never ANY "dead air." My major at University of South Alabama was radio/tv communication and minor in English. I also was a club DJ while I attended USA. Beat mixing, sampling, and scratching enhances my performance when appropriate. Never ANY dead air or "set breaks" -non-stop music!!!
