Introduction
I am personally passionate with every event and clientele. It's silly, but I actually imagine myself asthe client and the guest and visualize what I would notice at a event - from the centerpieces to the food selection, which is why I can easily offer suggestions with honesty. I think the "big companies" don't take that time because all they see are dollar signs. At A Cultured Event we NEVER doublebook on someones special day, it's just rude and no doubt ruins the trust. Anxiously waking up every day when I can emerse myself in the current and/or newest event we have lined up. I love coming up with unique ideas for our clients and knowing that they put such trust in my company to handle their special day - it's a great feeling.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I have ALWAYS planned most of my family and friends events, usually without even knowing it. I am at my best when my mind goes into all the little details and they somehow fall into place. In my profession as a chef, I would often do catering services and usually the client would ask me questions like "Should I do this?" or "Does this look good there?" etc. and I would always help them out. Many have asked why I don't go into the event planning buisness, after many years of that same question I finally made the right decision to become an event planner - I LOVE IT!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Honestly for me when I hire someone it's usually because I love their attitude and personality. Someone who enjoys their work and who would still do it if this wasn't a business. I want to be around people and work with people who I am comfortable with, who I can joke with and who I can trust doing the work.
