FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I followed my husband around the world for 20 years while he was on active duty and had a variety of different jobs. The common theme was that my positions always centered around the mortgage, accounting, and public sectors. Once he retired from the military and we settled down in middle GA, I prayed about it and felt led to become a Realtor. I've been doing this for several years now and am at complete peace with the decision to sell real estate. I love to help people and having the ability to affect lives by showing them properties that may become their home is exciting to me. Seeing their faces when they walk into the ONE and watching their smiles as they receive the keys to their new home makes this the best job I could ask for. I am truly Blessed!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Because you are going to be spending a lot of money on a home, ensure the Realtor you choose is trustworthy, honest, patient, and puts your needs first. They should also know the area very well, stay calm under duress, and have a good understanding of the local market. Because well over 80% of buyers begin their home search online, ensure the Realtor you choose has a good online presence (google their name for starters, check out their website/blog, etc.) and can provide references or testimonials so you can see what others have said. If that journey has led you back to me, I look forward to working with you. Cheers...Anita.
