How did you get started doing this type of work?
After spending many years in research and industry, as an engineer and manager, (often running employee training programs, plus part-time college teaching), I finally discovered that I have a special knack for tutoring -- especially when the student is "lost" because of poor teachers, who fail to explain the underlying concepts.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find the best (not the cheapest). Read the feedback from previous students and parents. Also, make sure it is someone you feel comfortable working with. Invest in your future!
