Some know us as being one of the best equipped production companies in the area. But what we are known best for is creatively helping our customers accomplish what they need. Whether you are a small local shop or an international client, we can help you. We offer custom 3D animation which is very rare in Arkansas. We use up to 17 HD cameras and unique equipment for impressive cinematography which again is rare. We even have a poseable stunt dummy. But before the shooting begins we follow a pre-production system like Hollywood, communicating closely with you so your project is as successful. Above all else, we strive to far exceed our customers expectations and our customers can attest to that. We love coming on-board and helping people succeed. We used to use another company here in Fort Smith for our video production and they did a good job. Once we discovered Digital Magic we never went back. Not only is the other company several times more expensive, the quality of work the Digital Magic team produces is very comparable and the DM guys are actually more creative and professional.

I can without hesitation recommend these guys for whatever pro video need you have. The creativity and professionalism is top-notch. The benefit they have brought to our company has been significant. They don't show up and shoot some footage and then produce a plain jane product. They sit down with us, listen to what we are trying to accomplish, hash out ideas and then work up a plan based on the talks. Each time has worked out even better than expected and the creativity they possess continues to impress. I don't really understand how they do it all, but I can attest to the fact that WHAT they do, and HOW they do it, is amazing. A++ in our book.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There is constant learning and updating of both skillsets and equipment/software. It's a never ending process of improvement to not only stay up with the industry's leading offerings in top end equipment and software, but to know how to use it. We have an extensive array of over 40 pieces of software that we use for our work. It takes a lot of time and work to stay up with it.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We started back in 1991 shooting and editing with a pair of CCD Panasonic camcorders. Back then it was linear editing. As we developed our skills and technology changed, we continually upgrade to stay ahead of the curve with software and hardware and constantly learning more and more.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We do a lot of higher end corporate work because there aren't many companies in this region that do. Special effects and professional grade compositing and animation is a rarity around here. We also do a lot of weddings because though there are lots of wedding videographers, virtually no higher end production companies have any interest in doing weddding, and that really puts us in a unique position. We also receive considerable requests for dance recitals and performing arts, because we use a lot of cameras and meticulously sync multiple audio sources with all the angles to deliver a very polished product.
