Introduction

I've been painting murals for over 5 years now. With my work experience and BFA in illustration (much of which included large scale paintings, on and off walls) I've developed an efficient, professional workflow that gets the job done right. Getting the best artist for your project can be very difficult, and sometimes haphazard; I simplify things by clearly outlining the stages of the project and taking time to make sure we develop exactly the design you're looking for. With my painting service you can expect clear communication and sincere dedication to making your project the best it can be. Painting! I love making large-scale paintings, and murals are just fun! It's also really great to see kids' reactions to having their room personalized in such a big way.

My wife and I asked Jess to do a mural of the lion king in the kids room of our house. Jess was able to take our thoughts and transpose them to the wall. I still look at this and find embedded pictures in the mural. Her artistic ability is unmatched.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price is 3-part: Initial design process including planning and up to 2 rounds of revisions: $160 (discounted if the design is very simple) Painting: $25/sq ft Materials: typically under $30 (I get good deals!) I have a price sheet that explains both the price structure and the process for getting a mural done in greater detail, and I'm happy to send that to anyone who wants more info.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from college recently (BFA in Illustration from RIT), so I don't think I have to worry too much about continuing education yet!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm an illustrator by trade but I enjoy making large-scale paintings. Murals involve more process work but the art background was already part of my education.
