The Emotional Us We know weddings aren't just a gorgeous event, its the beginning of your life, your legacy. The photos from that day will be the ones your children will look back on and feel your early love. This is the foundation of what we do and we are honored to be able to capture these moments in peoples lives. The Technical Us We specialize in natural light photography, while we can absolutely shoot in artificial light, there is something about the dreaminess you can achieve with the warm haziness the sun casts down on us through the clouds and trees. Professionally trained by the best of best. We are trained and skilled in posing techniques for every kind of shoot, wedding, and body type! In our bags we both have Nikon D750, Sigma 35mm f/1.4 as well as a Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8. And you can always see April with Juliet (her stool) The Geographical Us We are based out of Central Pennsylvania, however are available for travel! For special couples we will pack our bags and travel to your wedding!! We feel privileged to have the honor of preserving a young couple’s love in its raw, pure, joyous, unfiltered, emotional state for generations to come, so that fifty years from now when our clients are grandparents and their granddaughter gets engaged, they’d be able to open their wedding album and, their granddaughter, by one page at a time, would be able to see in living color, the real, fresh, vibrant emotion come back to life and jump right off the page, and she’d feel how much her grandpa loved her grandma and the legacy of love she’s soon to inherit, preserve, and ultimately, pass on to the next generation one day, too. Images By Hart did my daughters Senior Portraits at Poole Forge in Caernarvon Township. April was on time, very professional, and had fantastic idea's for poses & backgrounds. She took over 600 pictures, which were beyond my expectations - to the point that I am having a hard time deciding which of them to use!! I can't wait to show all our family and friends!! I have also recommended her to family & friends who need to have professional portraits done. I will definitely use Images By Hart for any future sessions I may need and highly recommend them!

Images by Hart did an amazing job on my engagement session! April was very professional and affordable! Shes very talented with a lot of ideas and inspiration. She gives you a CD with all your pictures and printing rights, which was perfect for any DIY save the dates or wedding invites that you would like your pictures on. All my family and friends loved the pictures and I recommend Images by Hart to anyone looking for a photographer!

WEDDINGS We offer different options to fit your day! Whether its a small intimate wedding or a big celebration. All collections include an enagement session and team of two photographers to capture your day. Our wedding collections start at: $1500 PORTRAITS We offer a variety of different collections ranging from family, to maternity, to high school seniors, or just because. We would love to capture the season of life you are currently in! Our portrait sessions start at: $350

Professionally trained by Amy and Jordan Demos in Posing, Shooting and Editing. Hands on training from Penn State University, Jeremy Bischoff Photography, and Lindsay Eileen Photography
How did you get started doing this type of work?
April: Infectious Smile, Pure of Heart, Gypsy Soul, Lover of music, lattes, and anything adventurous. Meet our Owner and Mastermind! Born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, April started photography in high school by learning from the one and only Jeremy Bischoff of Jeremy Bischoff Photography. Since being Jeremy's student she has been professionally trained by two of the BEST photographers in the industry (Amy and Jordan Demos)! April is a romantic, yes the hopeless romantic who will watch any and every romantic movie out there. She's watched How to Lose a Guy in 10 days probably over 100 times. With her romantic heart and her eye for vision and detail its only fitting that we specialize in weddings and couples. She says that photographing a wedding is like telling a brand new love story to the world! Michael: US Army Combat Veteran, EMT, Lover of all things suits, Coffee (black, none of this latte nonsense), and Star Wars. Meet our Co-Owner Michael or Mike as pretty much everyone except his mother calls him. Even though he doesn't quite have the same amount of year put into photography as April, he is essential to our team! Not only does he carry all the things he does the behind the scenes work at weddings to make everything go smoothly for our Brides and Grooms as well as capture those awesome angles! Mike is by no other words a protector, with 2 deployments to Afghanistan, 50 plus jumps in his paratrooper career as well as bringing EVERY man home during his second deployment as a Sergeant. He is a full time student at Penn State with aspirations of working in Federal Law Enforcement. He's a man of his word and whether or not he'll admit it, he's just as a romantic as April is.
