My secretary/daughter Allison takes down all the details and sends you a confirmation. Details are very important. She calls the week of the party and goes over everything with you. I have an PhD Degree in Clausology from IUSC (International University of Santa Claus) I am in my 17th year as Santa and take pride in this special calling of the "Red Suit". It's all about the Children ! The looks of wonder and excitement as well as the little ones who are shy bring lasting memories to me as well as the parents and grandparents who are looking on. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Details are the most important aspect of a successful visit. Allison will gather ALL details and provides Santa Randy with a daily event sheet he brings with and goes over before arriving at your event. We also have a contact for person in charge of the event and reach out the day before the event to make sure nothing has changed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Santa Randy has his PhD in Santaclausology through the IUSC (International University of Santa Claus. He also attends yearly conventions where he attends Workshops just for Santas ! You are never to old to learn.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have planned to portray Santa since I was a young. I come from a large family of 10 children. We lived on a farm. Every year Santa would come to our home. Even when we all grew up married and had children, he still came home to the farm. My parents would have the same family friend come all dressed up as Santa. He had an artificial beard and felt suit. I wanted to be more Professional and became Santa with a real beard and white hair 24/7/365. My suit is custom made of German Velvet. I have leather boots and a leather belt. I have several different Christmas print shirts. I have taken several classes and have earned an advanced Masters Degree. I go to conventions and connect with Santas in all parts of the country. The Santa Community is a wonderful group. There is not better job on earth !!
