Introduction

There are many old and new masters I've studied from over the years, so there are certain styles I've come to admire and incorporate into my work.I've found that combination of impressionism with realism helps me capture the essence and feel of the subjects I'm painting. I actually love the touch and feel of the materials I'm working with,from the immediate response I get from the charcoal and pastels to the lush thick and juicy paint of watercolor,acrylics and oils.Being able to create something and have it come to life and share that with other people brings me great joy.

She did beautiful renderings of each of my beloved dogs. Man, they are just so gorgeous! And she perfectly captured the personality of each of them -- the goofiness of Cocoa and the joy of Sugar. I treasure these pictures!

I got everything I was looking for and I feel like more. This was my first time commissioning someone to do a painting, and the experience with her will make sure it won't be my last. This painting is outstanding and came out just as I had visualized in my head. I really can't describe the feeling I had when I first saw it, considering the story behind the painting, I actually became emotional from it. That is something that has never happened, at least when it comes to a painting. For that alone ,I am incredibly greatful. As for the service, it was fantastic, I received frequent updates, and the painting was also wrapped and framed when I received it. I highly recommend Adriana! I generally have a pricing formula ,going by the size of the piece involved.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to introduce myself and get to know my client,and it's fun to discuss what they're looking for in an art piece.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied with my uncle who studied with some well renowned artists himself back in the 1950's at Chouinard Institute and I had my first introduction to figure drawing at Los Angeles Valley College.I took various workshops and classes on drawing and painting especially in relation to the face and figure.Now I'm always checking out artists' workshops online and taking home my favorite magazines and learning about new techniques and art tools.
