Introduction
I have over 30 years of experience in teaching acrylic painting and jewelry making and about 7 years in instructing polymer clay classes. I currently teach Fine Arts painting classes for beginners at the Peoria and Bloomington Michaels stores. I teach jewelry making at the Peoria Michaels and polymer clay classes at another location.
Contact me for information. My fees vary. I also accept commissioned work, sell my art and jewelry, and I love doing portraits and especially murals in businesses and private homes.
I'm certified to teach painting and jewelry making. I am president of the Central Illinois Polymer Clay Guild (join our Yahoo group) and secretary for the Washington Fine Arts Society.

Pam gives a very relaxing class. She explains and demonstrates techniques in a way that anyone can understand. She is helpful to each student, answering questions and guiding them through any difficult areas in the painting.

Pam is a wonderful teacher. It's very apparent she enjoys teaching and sharing her knowledge with her students. I have taken painting classes.
Would like to see more classes offered in other areas.

i went to my very first painting class at michaels in peoria and Pam was the teacher. i have to say that at first i was quite intimidated bc everyone else in the class was older and experienced looking. but honestly she was an amazing teacher, she helped me out and got me everything i needed and did so with a very gentle, motherlike tone. she took me through everything step by step and i have to say the painting i did was acually really good! thanks, Pam!

I had attended one of Pam's clay making classes where she showed us how to create this beautiful clay pendants. It was a very pleasant experience , she not only teaches you but also is very patient to all your questions and help find what we need for her classes.I have still to attend her painting class which I'm sure is are fun too!!!

Her classes are always fun and relaxed. She makes the time to help with something you might not 'get' right away and never makes you feel less because you don't get it right away. I love her classes and teaching style.
