FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The DFW Metroplex average price for a private dance lesson is $120/ for 45 minutes, with the lower common price of 80$/45min and the higher prices at $155/45min. Most studios discount the first lesson and the first lesson package to get you hooked, and then they raise the price slowly. At Daily Dance Services, we are committed to transparency and giving you the most value for your dollar. Depending on our specials, we will sometimes discount lessons to increase business or use it as an assessment of your dance skills and a plan a strategy on how we can reach your dance goals. After that, you can count on consistently cheaper than average pricing for a full hour lesson, not 45 minutes. From your second lesson on, we stay at our per hour lesson with no tricks or gotcha's like other studios in DFW.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First hour is an assessment. We want to discover your dancing or musical background. If there is none, no worries! No bad habits. We will discuss goals and preferences as well as determine the best way to reach those goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 10 years of dance training and experience that includes formal studio training, training for competitions, and hours upon hours spent on social dance floors. However, we are always learning. Because it is social dance, the trick is keeping your thumb on the pulse - to spot the difference between what is new and what is just a fad. We watch the national competitions to see if anything has changed, and we are networked with some really great groups but honestly what is most useful is going out dancing and seeing what is being done on the dance floor now.
