Introduction
I have a knack for capturing the unique characteristics of my clients. I think everyone is beautiful in their own way, and they should not have to try molding themselves into what society views as a normal photo, you know the ones you took each year in school, or at the studio in the mall. I try to work with my clients to pick an environment that suits them whether it be in the studio or an outdoor location. I believe anyone can shine if they are in the right light. I love working with people. Of course taking the photos is one of the most enjoyable parts of my job, but then I go home and edit the photos I took at the session, and I look back on the time I spent with that person, or in that place. I know that after I return the final product to the client they will have these memories to keep forever. That is what I like most about my job, is helping my clients create memories to look back on years after they have their photos taken, or after they finish a project.

I have used Beth as a photographer twice- the first time for family photos and also 3 month pictures of my daughter and the second time for 1 year/birthday photos of my daughter and family. She did a fantastic job. The pictures turned out beautiful and I have them framed all over my house! Also, I love how personable she made both our experiences. I was able to communicate with her before our session and send her my thoughts and a general idea of what I wanted. She did a wonderful job of turning those ideas into OUR family photographs.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always had an interest in photography. It stemmed from my grandfather who never when any where with out his 35mm camera around his neck and a bag of extra film on hand. I started to carry a camera with me at all times since about the 6th grade. I took a serious interest in becoming a photographer in high school and took many classes in darkroom/film photography. I pursued photography as my second major in college and started my company just before finishing my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and Art/Photography.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most of my jobs come by word of mouth from my photos of children and families, but I do events, weddings, interiors and architecture, as well as pets too!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Tell me as much about yourself from your interests and hobbies to what makes you who you are. I will work on the rest! I love the challenge of finding ways to incorporate my clients special requests!
