FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually price per hour. If it's a simple job, I can price per job or what I think it's worth doing it for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to introduce myself, tell you a little about myself, then I like to learn about you. Then we will get into the steps the job will have. After that, we get to work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For Carpentry/handyman, I took carpentry in school for 2 years and after school I continued with learning more about house maintenance in general. I volunteer with a non profit organization that builds places of worship. In my training with them, I've learn a handful of helpful trades in being a handyman. With Sewing, I've always loved to create my own clothes and wardrobe. When I was young I inherited a old sewing machine from a relative. I started to tinker with it and figured it inside and out. I took home ec. in high, learning more about basics of sewing. After school I continued learning and practicing making different types of clothes. I still have a lot to learn but happy to help in anyway I can.
